MIMESIS X ELHO
October 2023 – The Phalaenopsis is known for its long shelf life. However, properly caring for this plant proves to be a challenge for many consumers. To make watering easier, elho and The Orchid Growers, the supplier of Mimesis Orchids, have joined forces. Together they have developed a sustainable decorative pot, especially for orchids: the Orchid Vibe.
Orchid Vibe
The Orchid Vibe is an innovative decorative pot. The dimensions of the Orchid Vibe are tailored to the orchid growing pot. In addition, it is equipped with an integrated watering system. This allows the orchid to provide itself with the right amount of water and prevents overwatering. Something that consumers are really looking for. In addition to the convenience that the Orchid Vibe offers, it is also a sustainable choice. The pot is made from 100% recycled material and is fully recyclable. The pot is also available in three trendy colours.
Collaboration
While elho is the largest supplier of sustainable decorative pots to garden centers, the Phalaenopsis product is number 1 in flowering houseplants. Both parties saw the struggle with care as an opportunity. The Orchid Vibe is available from now on. A display has been developed for retail that can be used in stores to inspire and inform consumers about the Orchid Vibe.
